Empowering Communication - Healing Relationships

Hello, I'm Jason, and my mission is to equip you with the essential skills to communicate effectively, even during those challenging moments when anger or frustration takes center stage. With years of experience, I've been privileged to assist adolescents through seniors in navigating the overwhelming feeling of isolation, where it seems like no one understands.

My Background:

I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in 2005. In 2013, I became a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, and I extended my practice to Nevada in 2022.

A Diverse and Inclusive Approach:

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I understand the nuances of diverse relationships and identities. I'm well-versed in working with polyamory, BDSM, and kink dynamics. My expertise extends to high-conflict couples, infidelity, and addiction issues. I draw from the Gottman Method and the insights of Ellyn Bader's Developmental Model to guide my couples' therapy.

Individual Therapy with a Purpose:

In my work as an individual therapist, I take a relational approach and provide practical tools to alleviate symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and trauma. My philosophy is centered on goal-oriented therapy. Clients come to me with specific concerns, and my role is to empower them to achieve those goals. Therapy doesn't have to be a long-term commitment; often, 6 to 9 months are sufficient for addressing targeted issues.

Continual Growth and Innovation:

I'm dedicated to evolving and improving my couples therapy methods continually. I'm developing various versions of couples intensives and materials that couples may take home and use after therapy. Stay tuned for the latest updates and enhancements in my approach.

Unlock Your Transformation:

Your journey towards better communication, healing, and personal growth begins here. Whether you're seeking couples therapy or individual support, I'm here to guide you. Let's work together to transform challenges into opportunities for growth and connection.

Ready to take the first step? Contact me today to begin your journey towards healthier, happier relationships and a healthier and happier you.

When couples fight it’s often hard to simmer down or to get your partner to simmer down. One of the biggest challenges is learning to talk reasonably to one another because when tempers or emotions are high you need to let things simmer down. Call or email me to discover how we can work together to simmer things down and restore balance.
