Hi. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me. Let me start by saying that I love being a therapist. I believe working with people as they inquire and discover about themselves is a beautiful experience. My work is inspired by my interests in health, anthropology, primatolgy, dance, music, art, travel, and Two-Spirit Indigenous studies.

I focus in creating deeper intimacy in one's life, either with self or with others. In particular, I look at the ways we use technology as an approach to connect and find relationships. I am a certified sex therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).

My work is informed from a social and sexual justice perspective. I strongly believe in equality and equity and work to create safe spaces for clients to explore the impact of privilege, colonization, sexism, homophobia, patriarchy, and the countless 'isms' we endure in life.

I have a PhD in Human Sexuality with a Concentration in Clinical Practice. My works focuses on sex therapy which includes behaviors, physiological, and psychological issues that an individual or couple/open/poly relationships may encounter. Working through the lens of sexuality allows for an exploration of various themes including intimacy, problematic sexual behaviors (including overconsumption of dating/hook up applications and sexual imagery), and physiological issues such as erectile dysfunction, delayed ejaculation, and painful intercourse.

I have a Masters Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Somatic Psychotherapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies. My undergraduate degree is in anthropology. I consider myself a soma-cultural therapist. I am interested in the body and its relation to culture which helps shape, challenge, and ulitmately influence our experiences. I was raised in a biracial and bi-cultural household (Native American and Caucasian) and understand the importance of culturally competent therapy in our modern technological lives.

I am a member of AASECT, CAMFT, GAYLESTA, and a board member of the Bay Area American Indian Two-Spirits Society and the American Indian Cultural Center of San Francisco.

I offer short and long-term therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. I work with adults, teens, and children of all orientations and backgrounds.
